Okay, I'm several months behind in dA now and it shows-- I've got a ton of deviations and whatnot to comb through.  I'd like to try and tackle that in pieces of the next week or so.  In other words, if I fav/comment on something you made a few months back, well... yeah, I'm slow.

In other news I've moved back to my home in Montana, which makes me happy like you wouldn't believe.  I love the culture here in Bozeman; despite all the stereotypes of "hurr Montana rednecks and hillbillies", I've never been to a more educated, intelligent, artistic, and friendly place.  Where I was in Washington was beautiful but the people and the atmosphere simply was not the same.  I mean, there were some great people there, obviously, but there was just a big difference overall.  So-- I'm very happy to be home.

Art-wise I've got some commissions and such that I'm working on so maybe I'll have something like that up eventually!

So I got super behind in DeviantArt again.  Derp.  I'm having a hard time motivating myself to do much artwork lately, I suppose.  I do have a great piece I'm working on that I'm rather proud of, but it's taking forever, and I, uh, haven't touched it in a while.

Did I mention that I got a wacom tablet for Christmas though?  Cause I did.  It's fun times.

Other than that, I've just been playing the vidya and trying to distract myself from the fact that work keeps cutting my hours and I'm not sure how to pay for anything anymore.

Just a note to say that even though I haven't uploaded any real new art in a while, I'm still here... I log on to dA every day to see everyone's new art and I really enjoy doing that!

My life is pretty tough right now... I did get a job, which is good, but it's far away and the schedule stinks.  I've been looking for something closer, but am not having much luck with that.  Also, my boyfriend and I broke up.  That's been rough.  I miss him a lot and there's a big part of me that wishes we were still together but I don't think that's going to happen, so I'll just have to get over it.

I also miss my old home a lot... if things don't start improving here I think I will be seriously considering moving back.

Well, enough of the depressing stuff.  Yesterday was my birthday!  Yup, I am old now.  *waves cane*

Anyways, I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. <3  Let's hope 2011 is better for everyone!

ANYWAYS I've totally cleared out my backlog of dA stuff that I was super behind on.  Feels so lovely to have zero messages, but also sort of sad that I have no new lovely pieces of art to look at.  So update yo! <3

Further good news: I'm drawing a lot lately.  Comes at a price, though: I moved out of state and am now unemployed.  So... I'm broke.  But I have a lot of time to draw... so it's sort of a tradeoff.

NaNoWriMo next month!  So stoked.  No doubt I'll start drawing tons of concept art for that any day now.  Meanwhile I'm still drawing stuff out of last year's book, haha.

So I apparently got super behind in DeviantArt lately.  Derp.  I'm going to try to catch up over the next few days.  If I comment on your art like a month after you posted it... yep, that's why.
